CBS Sports broadcaster Gus Johnson stepped away from preparing for tomorrow’s opening round games he’s calling in Denver to chat with BU Beat about the tourney. 

He was on his cell phone inside the Pepsi Center so there are a few bumps in the audio.

Questions posed to Gus:

• Which one seed has the toughest road to San Antonio?
• Were the mid-major pairings in the first round (BU vs. S. Alabama, Davidson vs. Gonzaga, & Drake vs. Western KY) intentional?
• Outside of the 1-4 seeds, who is your dark horse?
• Which game that you’re calling tomorrow (ND vs. George Mason, Mich. St. vs. Temple, Wash. St. vs. Winthrop, & Pitt. vs. Oral Roberts) are you most excited about?
